So I'm thinking maybe I'll try upgrading the dismal old lighting on a couple of vintage 3V numbers with warm white LEDs. Did an F-91 for practice.
Dunno if the light is much brighter, but it sure makes a hell of a lot of difference that it's pointing at the edge of the light spreader instead of straight up… (obviously it doesn't blow out your eyes like in the pic)
