Large wrist, small watch

I have my wedding coming up and I’m looking at several options, including some vintage pieces that have caught my eye, around 33.5-34mm

I have a large wrist (don’t know the exact measurement but certainly between 7.5-8”) and tried on my dad’s old Raymond Weil to get an idea of the proportions. It took a minute to get used to but I don’t have the self awareness to know if it looks ridiculous on me.
