As to be expected on a watch forum
When it comes to cars I am very boring, I want something that looks ok, does the job and is reliable, I have had my current car (Toyota Avensis) seven years now it’s a 2011 model, in this time it has never let me down once and apart from yearly service, tyres/brakes/bulbs and a battery cost me nothing and it drives and sounds just like it did when I first bought it, I love reliability, over the years I have often kept a car for five plus years.
Early this year there was a nice old Jag for sale on SC which I really fancied but because the Avensis was still going strong I was reluctant/scared to go for it, it seemed pretty well sorted and if I could of got a year or perhaps two out of it before it started to cost silly money I would have been happy having had the pleasure of running the Jag.
The Avensis is still going strong but now with health issues I do wish I had gone for the Jag !! its all about timing
