It might sound crazy but I wonder if that’s feasible to put non-Timex movement in it and if there are Swiss, Japanese, or any kind of movements that can fit into my vintage Timex Mercury? I’m wondering because since older Timex movements are notoriously difficult to service, I thought putting a Swiss, Japanese or even Chinese manual wind movement that actually fits inside my vintage Timex would make things easier. I know the M24 movement is a pin-lever.
