I've been trying to incorporate solar-quartz movement watches into a regular rotation. I find them the most fussy of all movements, i.e. they come out of the sock drawer and are 2 or 3 bars out of 5 on charge. No change in charge state after wearing them for a day or two. Then I'm moving them around the house from sunny windowsill to sunny windowsill chasing the sun across the sky to charge them. "But don't leave your watch on the car dash in the sun!" warns the manual.
