My interest in Watches can be traced back to the fact that my father was a jeweler who had a small business, selling mostly Seiko and Pulsar quartz.
When I was very young and into my early teens, I remember a gold- tone Seiko quartz watch that he had that had a brown dial and a faceted crystal. I used to like to wear it and I remember how big and heavy it felt.
