If you got a financial windfall of roughly $100K with the condition that it had to be spent on one watch, which one would you buy? I had some fun putting this price range on a Chrono24 search and looking at some of my favorite brands like ALS, Breguet, VC, JLC etc.
I think I would go for the A Lange & Sohne Datograph Up/Down 405.031 reference in rose gold. I like the brand and it scratches the itch for many things I love – German watches, Chronographs and in particular Flyback, Reverse…
