Ladies and Gentlemen,
While I traipse through this hobby, I had made a small mistake. Thinking of a small but perhaps helpful mod would be adding a cyclops magnifier over the date on my Seiko Samurai.
I had the local AD do the work, and they did a great job. It was placed squarely over the date window, clean with no glue along the edges. Sadly i found that the convex shape of the cyclops caught light sources from any angle and actually distorted the image and made it harder to see the…
