Over the years, I have had issues with Breitling service polishing out the serial number on the caseback and refusing to re-engrave it. This really hit home last week when I was trying to sell a Montbrillant Datora with a Havannah dial. BUSA had completely polished out the SN, and the buyer was not happy.
