Hi,
I bought recently a Robur alarm watch with AS 1931 movement. When I disassembled the movement I found that everything else is in great condition, but the balance regulator is broken so the lever system doesn't work. I bought a new regulator from Cousins and it arrived today, but now I have a (potentially stupid) question: how do I remove the broken regulator and replace the new one? Do I have to remove the shockproof bloc, and if so, is it just friction fitted to the balance cock, and…
