So, I have a friend that collects watches but he only collects quartz watches. I’ve had several discussions with him asking him why he has no interest in automatic watches. This was his answer
Why would I want a watch that costs far more than Quartz watches is far less accurate and requires expensive servicing when all I have to do is have the battery replaced?
How does one respond to that?
He does collect pricey quartz watches including Breitling etc. I just don’t know how to reply to that.
