Homeless Guy

Away from home at the moment and had noticed a middle aged homeless chap pitched up outside a nearby Co-op over the last week. Took pity on him today and bought him some sandwiches, biscuits, crisps, etc. A bag full of stuff. He was appreciative. Not something I would normally do. I live in the sticks and don’t usually see these people. Sometimes I get charity workers at the door but they usually get short shrift. I’m not trying to brag. It didn’t make me feel good in anyway. Just a bit more appreciative of my own circumstances. Shit, we don’t know how lucky we are.
