Help with strap for beat-up 1970 Zenith (diver bezel)

I really like this watch but don't love the current strap. Does anyone have any idea what might look good with this? I'm not very good at this sort of thing.

And I'm wide open to ideas and flexible on budget (to a degree–AliExpress to $200 custom).

There must be a great match out there somewhere….
