Help Identifying Rare Chopard Chronograph Ref. 8271 QZ (Two-Register Variant)

Picked up this Chopard 8271 chrono recently and I’m having a hard time finding much on it. Caseback is engraved 8271 QZ / serial 939770.

The weird part – almost every 8271 I can find online is a 3-register quartz chrono, but mine only has two subdials (hours on the left marked Jours, 1/10 seconds on the right, central chrono seconds, date at 4:30).
