I recently purchased a new Grand Seiko SBGA461 from a dealer in Japan through Chrono24. The watch was a great price, about $4.5K plus tax, but I just received notification from DHL that the import duties are $757. I've bought several watches from Japanese dealers, and the import duties typically run about 3%, so I was expecting maybe $200-250, max.
