I have sometimes wondered why GPS Time Clocks haven't become more mainstream in the United States. I know that Seiko has the GP501W and GP502W. I know they don't market those to the United States. The price seems a bit steep particularly since GPS receiver chips are pretty inexpensive.
I suppose the popularity of clocks that receive WWVB are less expensive might make it difficult to sell enough to turn a nice profit margin.
Still, if LaCrosse or Seiko sold GPS clocks in the United States…
