Okay, so it seems that this week saw me wearing what I refer to as 'expedition' watches.
I usually give this name to any watch that's small in size, and has a dark dial with just four numerals at the cardinal points of the dial and easy-to-read hands. Basically, an Explorer-type watch.
I'm not sure if this is something that's widespread among watch collectors and wristwatch websites, but that's the kind of design layout that I associate with post-War exploration.
