In the beginning I bought several watches for disassembly to learn about movements. I currently have several really cool cases and I want to get creative. For example, I have a case for a ZooYork rectangular watch that would be sweet as a monopusher or jump hour. I also have a stainless steel case with the same dimensions as the base metal Movado I own and think about gold plating the case, transferring the dial, a using a mechanical movement.
