I have hundreds of GF and RGP cases that have brass showing around the lugs and high-wear areas. I've been thinking about simply electroplating the entire case so that they look uniform. The price of the electroplating solutions are identical for 10k through 22k; is there any reason I shouldn't use 22k on a 10k RGP or GF case? I don't ever intend to sell them – they're just for me.
