Do you ever see a nice watch “in the wild”?

I think it's remarkable, that in my daily life I hardly ever see someone wearing a nice watch. I think I can count on one hand the number of times it has happened in over a year. Just today in an elevator, I saw someone with a nice black Oris Aquis on the tapering bracelet.
I just gave him a knowing look, and he was gone.

Do you guys have a similar experience…that you hardly ever see someone in your everyday life with a nice watch? Maybe, it's just me…but I don't think so.
