Just wanted to share a fun DIY project I just completed. I recently purchased a roughly 20 year old Sinn 256 from Japan. The watch was well cared for but the matte beadblasted finish was getting a bit shiny on the lugs and sides of the case. The bracelet was covered in scuffs and was also getting shiny. I prefer a true matte finish and in fact I was looking for a darker, almost titanium-like (or tegiment) finish.
I bought a Badger hobby abrasive sprayer and a $40 airbrush compressor…
