Recently, I had to have a couple of my Dive watches serviced by their respective manufacturers. In both cases along with the normal estimate the manufacturers wanted to polish them (at extra cost of course). Both were shocked when I told them that dive watches that are actually used in salt water should NEVER be polished. I am an experienced diver with numerous certifications and I have dive experience in both Atlantic and Pacific as well as the Caribbean. I don't include fresh water…
