The perfect example for me is the Tag Heuer Monaco featured in Breaking Bad, CAW2111. FC6183. It was more than just the watch Walt wore. It was a part of the plot. From being given it as a gift, to close up shots of the watch during future scenes, to Walt and other characters actually pointing to the watch and there being dialogue about it.
