I mentioned in a recent post that the 36mm Explorer was the same size as a submariner. This was met with a certain amount of scepticism!
I have struggled to find a definitive chart of dial sizes, but reading various forums/charts it would seem a lot of the models have very similar sized dials.
However, recently researching a potential next purchase….I have found that the Rolex Oyster Perpetual 34mm also has the same sized dial as the Explorer 36mm (and therefore the submariner). Now that did surprise me.
