Dependability of the Citizen “The Citizen”

Considering getting a Citizen Chronomaster or The Citizen. But, I am concerned about what might happen, even if unlikely, if the watch needs some type of repair or parts replaced. I don't want to be required to send the watch back to Japan. Anyone had experience with a A060 that had problems and what did you do.
