Hello, Longines experts. How this came about is that I saw a picture on FB of the current Conquest, a watch I had not previously considered, and I thought it looked cool. I have studied it a bit, and I like what I see.
But . . . while at the official manufacturer site, I figured I should look at the Spirit. If I understand correctly, the Conquest has the L888.5, while the Spirit has the COSC certified L888.4. The price difference is just 150, which I would gladly pay for the accuracy…
Conquest or Spirit? I would appreciate your thoughts, esp, regarding the engine
