Chinese mechanical watches – not that bad anymore?
I recently bought two Chinese mechanical watches.
The first one is a replica of an old Sea-Gull watch, made in the mid 1960´s, when their watches were called `Dongfeng´, which translates to `Eastwind´. In the mid 70´s they changed the name to Sea-Gull, because the word Dongfeng does not sound very nice to the rest of the world for exporting their watches.
