For those on this forum who appreciate the craftmanship and beauty of automatic watches (most of us, probably), one of the most wonderful sights is an elaborate movement. Some of them are so beautiful – thinking of a few I’ve seen from A. Lange, Patek, Glashutte, and RGM – that if I owned one of those masterpieces with an exhibition caseback, I'd be tempted to wear it inside-out occasionally so the movement would be visible on my wrist – which explains the appeal of skeleton watches.
