Bulova Accutron Quartz Devil Diver Cal. 2423.10 – can it be serviced/regulated?

I bought this watch, which started right up with a new battery. It was keeping perfect time for 24 hours until it jumped ahead 5 seconds. I realize the Accuset function can be used to reset the time for accuracy, but if there is a glitch or something with the movement can it be serviced and/or the movement be regulated?

FYI, I lost the stem and ordered a new genuine stem for this movement/watch, which I expect any day.
