Evening all. We are in the process of wanting to move house. Current house is on the market but as yet not sold. We have seen something that ticks pretty much all of the boxes. We suspect it will sell quite quickly and would love to not miss out.
Thinking of trying to get a bridging loan of £200K. Without resorting to selling off kidneys we can find the rest to be in a position to be the fabled cash buyer. We have plenty of equity in the current house to make it happen.
Anyone got any advice as to who are worth talking to? Most High Street banks don’t appear to offer bridging loans so I am looking at websites of institutions I’ve never heard of in most cases.
Anyone with any good experiences please? Or does anyone have a spare £200k under the mattress for about six months 🙂
