Breitling Aerospace repair possible?

Hi, this is a bit of a long shot but is there anyone who can repair my Breitling Aerospace Repetition minutes?

I didn’t wear this for a couple of years and the battery run down. Stupidly I thought I could change the battery myself without issue but somehow (even using a press) I’ve managed to damage the corner of the lcd and display also comes up with random characters. Sent it to Breitling but they want a fortune to fix it, replacing the movement, servicing and complete polish.

Any help or advice would be much appreciated.
