I’ve always been fascinated and a little sceptical about the whole Banksy thing. Nobody knows who he is. Really? Nobody? Then I saw this BBC article this morning that clearly shows that some people do know who he is and have met him. It also reveals that people at the BBC know his identity, or at least have photos of his face, but must keep it secret. Why? When they say his paintings sell for millions, who owns them to be able to sell them? Surely Banksy can’t ever see any of the proceeds as that would mean there’s loads of people involved in those sales and transactions that know who he is.
