Finally got my first Longines – Spirit 40mm

I have wanted a Longines Spirit for a while now. Went back and forth on the specific model – really liked the no-date version, but it’s only available in Titanium and I’m not a big Ti guy. Also considered a Zulu but I have a few GMT’s already and don’t really need the complication, plus they’re more expensive. Finally settled on a blue 3 hander, and the question was 37 v. 40. I found a well priced, near mint 40 on eBay and decided to pull the trigger.

Feel Like I’ve Reached the Breaking Point – Thoughts Welcome

Recently I bought an Omega Seamaster. For a long time I thought it’d be the last Omega model I’d have any interest in. But one day, it hit me. Like a ton of bricks. I own an 1861 Speedy and a 2500 Railmaster. Do I want this SMP to complement the ridiculous concept of “Air Land & Sea” – at least that’s how it works in my head. But then I got to thinking – who cares? Certainly not me. So why am I doing this.
