I’m curious looking at non-quartz mechanical in the affordable section (say sub 1k?) does anyone have any really unique or unusual watches with special complications they like? So, got my first watches (loving them). Im just curious what exactly constitutes a watches ‘papers’. I often see that referenced (papers and boxes) as something to make sure you save.
Are papers the receipt from when you bought it? Or is it more.. my watches came with like a warranty card and an instructors manual. Is that what folks mean? I hope the second as one of the watches was a gift…

Advice/Tips on Watch Size
New to watch collecting (and this forum) and I thought i’d break in by asking some advice!
After reading, researching, and saving for a few months I just ordered my first watch… a Hamilton Khaki Field Mechanical 42mm. It hasn’t arrived yet (I had to order it from an Authorized Dealer who didn’t have it in stock) but am super excited and looking forward to it!
