After calling back today and politely saying ‘no thank you’, I asked how far down the list I am for one I did ask for.

Wait time on a Polar Explorer II… 5-6 years.
The AD in Las Vegas said the Polar isn’t as popular, so it should be under a year wait (you can also buy the Polar on the Gray Market for about the same price as an AD)…. but there is a multi-year wait on the green dial steel DJ.

There are only a small number of models with a sandwich dial.. A Seamaster here, a Speedy there. I feel like Omega dropped the ball by not doing the new Railmaster with a sandwich dial
