In the meantime the watch was delivered to me coming all the way from Japan [emoji16] lightning fast shipping!! (posted Friday, received in France the next Wednesday), and astonishingly high “customs clearance fee” from the French Post Office (55% of the value of the watch). Anyway…

Review: Watchdives WD005 “Ice Crack”

Today I’ll share some impressions on the Watchdives WD005 “Ice Crack”, a newly released NH35-powered diver.

As soon as Watchdives anounced this “Ice Crack”, I knew I wanted to snag one the day of the big opening 😂

I ordered a green on November 10th, and a blue on November 13th respectively.
Curiously only the blue arrived on November 20th so far (7 days after order).

Show your black watch with yellow/colored seconds hand

Curiously a search didn’t show a thread for this:

I find a black dial/white indices with a dash of color for the seconds hand to be the perfect compromise between legibility and measured fun.

The best example to date which made me forget all my other watches:
