Vintage MRG appreciation thread

Back in the early-mid 90’s, some genius at Casio (or group of geniuses), thought of doing something different over in the Gshock division. Develop a line of all-metal Gshocks, what the hell, some in titanium even. Between 1996 and 2001 they output over 60 different MR-G’s with a mix of digital, anadigi, and analog. FS: Scurfa D1-500 Diver One Mod

Comes with original strap, unused. The new bezel and strap alone cost about 150.

This model has a SS case, an ETA F06.412…

The Official Casio Oceanus Thread

In the back of my mind I always think “this is a Casio but it’s not a Gshock” when I post an Oceanus in F17. I suppose I could post them in the public forum but honestly I hardly ever go there and I feel that f17 is probably the best forum for Casio fans. I know people post other watches besides G’s in the WRUW threads and in the “show your latest G” thread, but I thought it’d be nice to have a thread dedicated to the Oceanus, a place where we can have more in depth reviews and posts…
