I found this W-218HD-1AVCF on sale at WalMart online for $17.95. Who could resist? I tried removing the bottom text that announces with every glance the watch is water resistant to 50 meters. I learned the removal technique here (Goof Off & Q-tip) but others must have been appropriately gentle. I went past the finish, down to the plastic. I see the Invicta Pro Diver Blue, Gold and Silver on sale at Wally Mart for $38.50. If several of you would get one and deplete the stock it’ll help me not act rashly, ’cause I already have 2 of this style. BUT – How do Invicta finishes, particularly gold, hold up over time? This is a usually a $95 watch but I’m assuming a profit is still being made at $38.50. Look at the black and silver – $35 !

My Seiko 5M62 Kinetic is just back from the N.J. Seiko watchospital. What accuracy should I expect, having had the capacitor and battery replaced? My $30 Casio analog keeps to the second for a month.
