Which is NOT to say that ‘looking good’ is not also their primary concern.

HANDS: Any logic-based rationale behind their design? Or all about visual appeal?
I am regulating 6 watches – all are running on the NH35 movement.
After 12 hours, 3 are running + 1 sec, 3 are slow by about -5.
The weird:
30 minutes ago, 3 of those running at -5 NOW were actually running at -10 then.

And then, after reading about their origin — and their subsequent irrelevance in terms of the very function for which they were invented– I said “Meh.”
I’d still wear one if I got one as a gift, but I don’t think I’d spend my own $ to buy one.
It seems like an affectation at best, and an irrelevant anachronism.
