Is a new VHP worth owning?

I have found a lot of information on these models individually of course, but haven’t been able to find direct comparisons. As large as the G-Shock world is, I haven’t found a single side-by-side photo. I’m hoping to find someone who owns or has at least handled both at the same time.

I’m asking because I’m looking for a smaller watch for my small-ish wrist. We know we can’t rely on Casio’s weird measurements.
