Well this one arrived today.

After my recent disappointments with other brands, Tandorio seem to have done this homage proud.
I’ve never actually had a titanium watch before, but a friend bought this one in the orange dial and I was really impressed.
I have to say, that my first impressions are entirely positive.

The alignment is good. The case finish is good apart from one tiny scratch.

Initial thoughts on the Tandorio Titanium SKX homage with ‘great wave’ Kanagawa dial

As some of you will know, I bought a WISHDOIT Diver recently.
To catch the rest up, it arrived and I unscrewed the crown to adjust the watch for the first time, the crown fell off.
It would turn clockwise, but fall off if turned anti-clockwise. Clearly there was no thread lock connecting the stem and crown.
As I liked the watch and actually (after seeing this one) wanted a few of the variants, I thought I’d return it and re-order.

My new Cadisen came with a small section of neoprene to stop the bracelet from scratching the back of the case when it’s in it’s box.

So I made a few for my other watches with “lay-flat” boxes

I received a Seestern 600t yesterday and noticed a slight misalignment of the bezel and the hands.
I then sat and went through all my watches and although this is perhaps the most noticable, I do have a few that have minor misalignments of the hands.
Even in more mainstream brands.
What are your experiences and thoughts? While obviously annoying, would this be a deal breaker for you?

By that I mean, if you were telling someone about the platform and wanted to point them to a watch or two as absolutely unmissable….Which specific ones would it be?

What are the ‘must have’ watches on Aliexpress 2025?

I’ve been thinking of taking the plunge on a couple of these for some time now.
The name does kind of look like a row of left over letters in scrabble, that you can’t make a word out of…. But it’s certainly memorable.
That aside, some of their watches are very appealing (especially the retro divers!) but they get very little attention compared with other similarly priced brands online.

So, what have you got and what are your thoughts?
