I damaged the AR coating of one of my watches while cleaning it (a little too energetically) and now, on one side of the glass the coating is gone . The glass itself is not damaged but you know how these things go, it bothers me ( I know I have OCD tendencies with some things).
What to do?
Can a repair shop apply a new AR coat? I have read that you can remove the coating altogether but then it would reflect the light like hell under some angles.
Of course there is an option to replace…
