Embarking on a new era in January 2020, the Streamliner achieved great praise from critics worldwide. It also sold out and became backordered, with some models still being incredibly rare, very rare. Streamliner set a new landmark for H. Moser, a fully integrated independent manufacturer for nearly 200 years. With a legacy of quality, craftsmanship, and exclusivity, the recent Purple Haze Streamliner is already legendary amongst longtime horology enthusiasts.
Formula 1’s Alpine Motorsports is proud to have H. Moser as its first-ever Global Partner. With a driver being left-handed, we knew this gave us the opportunity to try something different. And so our incredible design team and talented watchmakers invested much time into the new ‘By Request Only‘ Destro Purple Haze. Turning the entire Streamliner concept on its proverbial head, with a pure stroke of genius, the Destro Purple Haze features a new dial and specially-fitted integrated bracelet.
"We here at H. Moser understand that left-handed people naturally grasp things in a different way, and our team has achieved greatness beyond even our own very high Schaffhausen precision expectations!,” said Meouard Edylan, COE of H. Moser & Cie. “With a revolutionary new dial styling towards the lower region, it brings a visually more planted dial design. Another challenge was achieving an integrated bracelet that has to be attached unlike any other H. Moser Streamliner timepiece in the history of our 200-year-old company. This was no easy feat, as the integrated bracelet had to be reverse-mounted(!). Never before have we achieved so much within a timepiece to cater to lovers of horology, Formula 1 drivers, and our enthusiastic fans globally. We are honored to present this to lovers of Destro timepieces."
Unlike anything that has come before it, or after, this now-legendary Purple Haze timepiece is available strictly ‘By Request Only’ directly from H. Moser via our website or during Watches & Wonders 2025. While we greatly appreciate our boutiques and authorized dealers, we must state again that the April 1 edition of the Destro Purple Haze is strictly —>>> By Request Only <<<— at W&W or via emailing H. Moser before the end of April 1 (2025) at [Email address suppressed for privacy]

H. MOSER & CIE.
H. Moser & Cie. was created by Heinrich Moser in 1828. Based in Neuhausen am Rheinfall, it currently employs more than 90 people, has developed 18 in-house calibres to date and produces around 4,000 watches per annum. Through its sister company Precision Engineering AG (PEAG), H. Moser & Cie. manufactures parts such as regulating organs and balance-springs, which are used for its own production as well as to supply its partner companies. Independent company incorporated into Moser Watch Holding in 2012, Precision Engineering AG specialises in watch components for escapements, from their initial design to the production of a quality product ready to be integrated into the watch movement it must regulate. H. Moser & Cie. is honoured to have a Moser family member with the company as Honorary Chairman and President of the Heinrich and Henri Moser Foundation.
The aim of the Moser Foundation, created by one of Heinrich Moser’s descendants, is to keep the family history alive and seek out antique pieces for the Moser Museum, located in Charlottenfels Manor, Heinrich Moser’s family home. With its substantial watchmaking expertise and highly acclaimed experience in the sector, MELB Holding holds shares in H. Moser & Cie., Hautlence and Agenhor SA. MELB Holding is an independent family group, based in the heart of the legendary Vallée de Joux.
