I need to get my office/outbuilding re-roofed as the current man-made fibre tiles have gone porous and we are getting water seeping through …
Below if a photo of the building.
The pitch is 16 degrees which is low. I am thinking of having this done with natural slate so it will match the house and the other outbuilding also in shot … usually I believe they recommend a minimum pitch for slate at 20 degrees and they adjust the overlap of the tiles to be greater on the lower pitch.
Will the slates work at 16 degrees or should I be looking at an alternative solution??
