Any information on this vintage Jorg Schauer? Valjoux 88

I recently purchased this Schauer watch with V88. There's a certificate dated 1997, but no mention of the number produced. I emailed Jorg Schauer (@durowe), but received no response.

Does anyone have more information?

Sterling silver dial hand made guilloché . 40mm. steel case.
