Long-time lurker, first-time poster, so apologies if I say anything stupid or transgress forum rules (mods feel free to delete if so). I'm also relatively new to horology and watch collecting so am just trying to learn as much as possible.
I'm currently weighing whether to purchase a fully restored and converted Waltham (c. 1910) vs. a new automatic Seiko. I realize that this is the Vintage watch forum, and I want y'alls partial perspectives!
