What’s the deal with Mexican Omega watch bracelets?

Hi Guys,

I'm curious as to why many Omega watches sold back in the day in Mexico came with bracelets made by Joske's, Holzer and J/M? There are probably others, and I'm not even sure J/M is a manufacturer and not a code of some sorts. Why were these bracelets only available in the South American market and why did Omega use them?
