I have a nice West End Sowar Prima Automatic 25 Jewels watch. Back case says: West End Watch Co. Everbright and Water Resistant. I have a few questions: (1) When I try to set the time, you can only turn the Crown clockwise; and when I do, the hands only move backwards. If I try to turn the Crown counter-clockwise, the Crown just unscrews from the stem. My simple question is: Is this normal? (2) The watch worked, then stopped. I think it may be overwound.
