After about 3 years on the waiting list I was called at 7.30pm last night to say my Rolex Datejust was in store. I said wonderful, just in the middle of something and I would ring back tomorrow. Confirmed, not a problem and I had until Sunday to collect my watch.
I rang at 3pm today to arrange a convenient collection time only to be told they had reallocated it and it’s already been collected. I asked if this was a joke, apparently not. I had missed a call at 10am this morning, they said because I missed the call they had no other option.
It’s my first Rolex from Goldsmiths, is this how they build relationships? Almost feel like telling them to stick it up their arse and I’ll go elsewhere. They are apologetic and said they will see what they can do.
