I have a number of Vostoks, but likely only one vintage that is “real” in the sense of not being a Frankenstein from piece parts. I like one of the Frankensteins, but the movement stops a lot. It’s completely unreliable. I’m looking for a recommendation for someone or a shop to replace (maybe repair?) the movement for me. I wanted to use Leitman in Brooklyn but he isn’t taking new customers as he is semi-retired. There are no local watch repair guys in my area.
